ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicant must state specific need as a result of financial hardship due to illness, employment layoff, spousal/ family death, disability or other extreme unforeseen circumstance that would prevent a joyous holiday season for them and their families. All fields must be completed on the application. Details must be submitted within the applicant story and must include gender, age and total number of children and adults living in household. Applications must be received by Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 5PM CST.

  • All applicants must be a resident of Cook County.

  • Eligibility does not require past or present participation in iAAG mentoring programs or events.

  • All applicants must be willing to participate in an iAAG videotaped holiday media package, appear in photos and or participate in a future media interview.

  • All applicants and their families must be available on Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24th between 10AM & 3PM.

INELGIBILITY

  • All applicants must submit only 1 application. Multiple submissions will not be accepted.

  • Applicants who benefitted from this program in 2021 is not eligible to be granted in 2022, however you can still attend the give-a-way as a general guest from the community without having to submit your story.
